Villa Laura, a typical Tuscan home, is located halfway between Arezzo, often referred to as an open air museum, and Florence, the renowned Cradle of the Renaissance.  The position in the valley, where the Arno river begins its long journey to Florence, is filled with a history rich in castles, pieves, and small towns.

Ponte a Poppi is less than 2 km from the villa on a paved road that is easy to navigate.  You can walk to town for restaurants, banks, shopping, cafes, and pastry shops.  This villa lends itself to families & groups travelling with limited personal transport because there is daily public transport to Florence (bus) and Arezzo (train).
